Virtual Tasting Emcee

Summary

The Virtual Tasting Moderator is responsible for ensuring successful virtual events by engaging the audience, managing the guest list, and moderating questions and polls. This role takes place on Tuesday's through Thursday's 5pm – 9pm. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, at least 1-2 years of hosting or Emceeing experience, and be comfortable with navigating a digital meeting platform.

• Ability to ad-lib and improvise, entertain and delight audience
• Comfortable with navigating a digital meeting platform

Responsibilities

• Managing a webinar on the virtual platform (Zoom), allowing guests in, starting meeting, moderating questions and polls, and ensuring basic sound and visual aspects of the meeting are functioning
• Keeping the energy and vibe of event, engaging audience

Preferred Qualifications

• 1-2 years hosting or Emceeing events a plus
• Theater, music or other artistic skills are appreciated, but not essential
