VP of Blockchain Engineering & Stablecoin Development

Summary

The VP of Engineering, Blockchain & Stablecoin Development will lead the strategic direction and execution of Bjak's blockchain and stablecoin initiatives. This role requires extensive experience in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and stablecoin development, alongside strong leadership and project management skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years focused on blockchain development
• Hands-on experience with blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger, Corda), smart contracts, and cryptographic technologies
• Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and scaling engineering teams in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in blockchain development tools and programming languages (e.g., Solidity, Rust, Go)

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic roadmap for blockchain and stablecoin initiatives
• Drive innovation in blockchain technology and stablecoin solutions
• Lead a team of blockchain and cryptocurrency engineers
• Oversee the design, architecture, and development of blockchain and stablecoin applications
• Ensure the security, integrity, and scalability of blockchain and stablecoin systems
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in blockchain and stablecoin development
• Conduct research to identify new opportunities for blockchain and stablecoin applications within the financial services sector
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate blockchain and stablecoin solutions with existing platforms and services
• Ensure seamless interoperability between blockchain components and other technological infrastructure
• Monitor and optimize the performance of blockchain and stablecoin systems to handle increasing user demands
