Join CSC Generation Enterprise, a dynamic AI-enabled platform transforming legacy businesses, as their Vice President of Private Equity Reporting. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead the M&A lifecycle, from diligence to integration, and spearhead value-creation initiatives across the portfolio. Collaborate with executive leadership to refine the M&A strategy, lead the end-to-end M&A process, negotiate agreements, and oversee post-acquisition integration. Conduct market research, build stakeholder relationships, and provide leadership and mentorship. This role requires a minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions. The ideal candidate possesses deep retail and consumer industry understanding, strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated leadership experience.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a proven track record of executing complex M&A transactions and strategic partnerships
- Deep understanding of the retail and consumer industries, with experience evaluating market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and growth opportunities
- Strong financial acumen, including proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and deal structuring
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and drive results in the face of ambiguity and complexity
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and refine CSC Generation's dM&A strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, operational and financial due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation, and integration planning
- Negotiate LOIs, purchase agreements, financing structures and closing documentation
- Lead post-acquisition operational integration, including aligning systems and processes, driving synergy realization, and implementing performance tracking across acquired portfolio companies
- Collaborate with operational teams to develop and execute post-merger integration plans, ensuring seamless transition and realization of synergies
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive threats, and potential investment opportunities within CSC’s sectors fo focus
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, investors, and potential partners
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and continuous improvement
