Summary

The VP, Private Wealth is an external wholesaler responsible for developing relationships with top wealth advisory firms and HNW investors, providing follow-up information, maintaining contact, creating proactive relationships, and educating advisors about CIM's approach to various risk/return opportunities. A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and Series 7 and 63 licenses are required, with 8+ years of previous work experience as an external wholesaler being preferred.

• 8+ years previous work experience as an external wholesaler

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with top wealth advisory firms and HNW investors
• Recruit new advisors and strengthen relationships with existing CIM investors
• Provide follow up information as requested
• Maintain contact with advisors and keep them up to date on products
• Offer information, ideas and other material required to move the relationship and production levels forward
• Create and maintain proactive relationships with key wealth advisor firms in the territory by through call campaigns and communication
• Maintain territorial database and report on advisor status
• Conduct office meetings and ensure a full calendar of appointments when traveling within the territory
• Maintain open communication with the internal wholesaler
• Conduct weekly meetings to review the past week and outline initiatives for the coming week
• Follow through on territorial marketing campaigns
• Educate advisors in the wholesaler’s territory as to how CIM is approaching various risk/return opportunities in the current market environment
• Read and report on assigned industry journals
• Provide timely information and investment ideas from these journals to the management
• Provide efficient and timely reports for sales activity and expense reimbursement

Preferred Qualifications

• CAIA preferred
• Alternative investments experience preferred
