Wafer Fab Quality Assurance Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years’ or master’s degree with 2 years’ experience in wafer fab engineering of magnetic head, CMOS, or other products of comparable complexity
• Project leadership to coordinate, facilitate, and drive actions of cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

• Identify and fix weak links and bottlenecks in the production line, covering both process and equipment
• Work on the fab floor of Fremont and Great Oaks fabs frequently with manufacturing and engineering teams to perform audits and fix issues
• Proactively enhance the robustness and efficiency of wafer process and equipment systems, procedures, training packages, etc
• Promote Quality Culture among wafer process and equipment engineering teams
• Facilitate process FMEAs
• Collaborate with FA and yield engineering to assure wafer outgoing quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the integrated process flow from wafer start to finish is strongly preferred
• Familiar with HAMR Process is a plus
