Warehouse Facilities Technician

Summary

Join SeekWell as a DC Facility Technician I and become a vital member of our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our distribution center. You will be responsible for performing entry-level repairs, preventative and reactive maintenance, and maintaining cleanliness of the facility. This role requires industrial maintenance experience, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and proficiency with hand and power tools. Preferred qualifications include forklift operation training and basic First Aid/CPR certification, though training is provided. Requirements

• Industrial maintenance experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to safely climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch for extended periods of time
• Ability to safely use ladders, other industrial equipment, PPE and LOTO to complete job functions
• High school diploma (or GED equivalent)
• Hustle and tireless work ethic
• Able to clearly report issues to Department Mangers, Site Manger and Direct Reports
• Willingness to assist coworkers and work collaboratively
• Comfortable in fast-paced, changing environments
• Observant of facility conditions and early signs of equipment wear

Responsibilities

• Perform entry-level repairs on doors, locks, shelving, light fixtures, and plumbing systems and also maintain the cleanliness of the Parking lots and furniture
• Proficient with hand and power tools (drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, saws, etc.)
• Perform visual inspections and become familiar and knowledgeable with the machines to perform basic Maintenance/repairs and PM's (e.g., tray formers, box sealers, conveyor systems, sortation system, dock levelers, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Replace light bulbs, reset breakers, use electrical testing equipment
• Unclog drains, fix leaks, faucet repair/replace and assist with pipe repairs
• Assist in inspecting and maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift Operation Training (We provide the training)
• Basic First Aid/CPR (We provide the training)
• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and installing motors, gearboxes, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, automation equipment and belt conveyance systems
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing A/DC electrical systems, reading schematics, using electrical testing equipment
• Understanding of industrial motor control and Programmable Logic Controllers
• Experience utilizing computerized maintenance management software for parts inventory, work documentation, and preventative maintenance scheduling
• Experience repairing electrical and mechanical systems
• Experience with vendor contract negotiations
• Familiarity with entering or updating tasks in a CMMS or maintenance ticketing system. (Maintain X)
• Basic ability to check, send, and receive work-related emails or messages
