Water Treatment Plant Operator, Plumber

Join Sodexo's team as an experienced STP/WTP Operator in WA, responsible for maintaining treatment plant systems, inspecting and servicing components, and keeping daily logs.

Requirements

• Trade qualified Plumber with a WA Plumbers Licence
• Certificate III of Water and Waste Water Treatment Plant Operator Program
• Minimum 2 years experience in operating a plant
• Experience in water sampling and testing techniques, inspection procedures, water and sanitation systems management
• Open C class driving license (Manual)

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain the treatment plant systems on a daily basis to ensure effective operations
• Support the maintenance and operation of filtering and chemical treatment processes
• Inspect, service and repair components of the water treatment plant including water intakes, pipes, water storage vessels, chemical treatment equipment controls, circulation pumps, boilers, heat exchanges and valves
• Ensure that servicing and major repairs are arranged in a timely manner
• Keep a daily log, and prepare activities and reports to ensure records are well maintained
