Summary

Douro Labs is seeking a web product designer to help deliver best-in-class DeFi tools. The candidate should have 5+ years of web design experience, be quality-obsessed, comfortable working autonomously, and enjoy bringing unique skills to the table. Remote work is the norm, and English proficiency is essential.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing for the web
• Strong intuition for building highly functional UX and attractive and accessible UI
• Experience designing for cross-browser and cross-form factor (mobile + web) web apps
• Experience in establishing and designing a design system and component library
• Working knowledge of designing for accessibility and understanding of WCAG guidelines
• Proven track record of delivering effective research-based web designs
• The ability to translate internal feedback into cohesive materials to share with the world
• Great visual design skills, and good instincts for use of typography, color, hierarchy, and overall feel
• A portfolio of exceptional UI/UX design projects

Responsibilities

• Design web3 applications to improve developer tools, network insights, and interactions with the ecosystems of the networks and projects we support
• Establish a design system and component library for use across our ecosystem
• Collaborate with our web engineers to deliver world-class products that provide value and enhance community and developer relationships
• Create processes for user research to guide our product designs
• Develop design processes and frameworks to scale our design output as we grow

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in web3/crypto
• Experience working in finance/trading
