Summary

The job is a remote web design position at Paystone, where the employee will build and launch high-performing websites for small business clients using website design, conversion rate optimization fundamentals, copywriting, SEO, color schemes, quality assurance testing, and maintenance. The employee will also assist in resolving client-facing challenges and improving processes to improve turnaround times.

Requirements

• 2+ years in web design
• Strong knowledge of on-page SEO and ranking strategy
• Strong writing skills
• Experience with design tools, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Track record of managing client requests and steering them toward better outcomes
• Experience with HTML and CSS

Responsibilities

• Build and launch high-performing websites that help our clients win more customers
• Design websites using simplicity, user-friendliness, the latest web standards, and accessibility best practices
• Write copy that builds credibility and generates leads
• Perform on-page SEO with a keyword strategy, content strategy, and organic search rankings
• Generate color schemes that incorporate client logo color schemes
• Quality assurance test and peer review sites
• Perform website updates and maintenance requests
• Monitor and audit sites to generate recommendations for user experience, content strategy, and user interface improvements - being data-driven
• Assist in quick resolution of client-facing challenges or issues
• Audit and improve processes to improve turnaround times
