Requirements

  • Possess a high level of technical and product knowledge, including: o Portal (Drupal/PHP and/or WebCenter) o Web Technologies (HTML, CGI, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript) o Source code control software Certification in the latest Oracle Application Middleware administration (e.g. Oracle Fusion Middleware). Competency in current web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML). Competency in Drupal, PHP, and MySQL. Competency in Java Development
  • Must have received qualification on the most current version of the ITIL Foundation level. A certificate of completion is required
  • Must have received basic training on Agile software delivery methodology. A certificate of completion is required
  • All staff performing in a Scrum Master role, need Scrum Master certification. A certificate of completion is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to complete a federal background investigation
  • Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code (such as HTML, CGI, CSS, XML, JSON, JavaScript, Drupal/PHP) for the Oracle Portal/Drupal/WebCenter and all business systems-related web pages
  • Work with graphic designers and other members of the project team to develop the site concept, interface design, and architecture of the website
  • Integrate web applications with backend databases
  • Perform initial testing of the newly developed code
  • Work with technical staff to understand problems with software and resolve them
  • Use existing software (ServiceNow) to document and track tickets (e.g. help desk tickets requests for service, incidents, problems, and changes)
  • Update ServiceNow with development comments in work log, update target completion dates, and close change tasks upon completion
  • Conduct code reviews with the appropriate parties
