Summary

Dudek is seeking a Wetland Scientist/Environmental Permitting Specialist on the East Coast US to support projects related to electrical transmission infrastructure, renewables, and industrial projects. The role requires a BS degree in a relevant field with 4 years of experience, wetlands delineation experience in Northeast/New England, mid-Atlantic or southeast, technical report preparation/permitting support for renewable projects, and a valid driver's license. Requirements

• BS in Biology, Wetland Science, Ecology, Environmental Science, Soil Science, Geology or related field + 4 years-experience
• Wetlands Delineation Experience in Northeast/New England, mid-Atlantic or southeast
• Technical Report Preparation/Permitting Support for renewable projects
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have active personal automobile liability insurance by first day of employment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and provide technical review of jurisdictional delineation reports and regulatory permit applications
• Oversee and mentor junior staff
• Engage in the workflow to identify process improvements to provide added value to the client
• Review workload demands to evaluate and adjust staffing needs to meet client goals
• Manage and delegate tasks to Dudek staff and subcontractors

Preferred Qualifications

• MS desirable 6+ years’ experience
• Lead Wetland Delineation Expertise
• Prior experience supporting wetlands delineation, T&E surveys and GIS background desirable
• Permitting Experience throughout the East Coast
• Prior experience in stormwater best management practices (BMP) work and/or wetland restoration projects
