Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience working as a Wills and Probate Solicitor, with experience in aspects such as Wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, Trust, and Probate.  Knowledge of Court of Protection, Deputyship, and Estate Disputes would also be advantageous
  • Up-to-date specialist knowledge of the law and legal system, and relevant experience in handling a wide range of cases
  • Experience with case management systems
  • An understanding of the small law firm’s culture & expectations
  • A passion for technology
  • Budgeting skills and commercial awareness
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Full clean driving license / Access to own car and ability to drive
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); skilled in dealing sensitively with clients
  • Completed a degree or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain an outstanding knowledge of LEAP Estates & it’s companion products
  • Promote use of LEAP Estates products & drive adoption in Wills and Probate
  • Shape product development of software in Wills and Probate
  • Report on in-depth competitor analyses in areas of Legal Technology
  • Ensure LEAP’s processes comply with up-to-date legislation within Wills and Probate
  • Research forms, legislation, and legal processes relevant to Wills and Probate
  • Identify the need for, schedule & conduct onsite / remote visits & training sessions
  • Attend industry events to speak with existing customers
