Join our team as a Windows/Linux/Unix Administrator & Application Support Specialist! Manage and support our IT infrastructure and applications. You will leverage your expertise in Windows systems administration, Linux/Unix environments, and application support to ensure smooth operation of critical IT services. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and Linux/Unix systems, managing Active Directory and user accounts, providing application support, and collaborating with development teams. You will also use monitoring tools, troubleshoot issues, and participate in disaster recovery planning. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills are essential. This role requires 3+ years of experience in Windows system administration and application support.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Windows system administration and application support
  • Fluent English
  • Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management
  • Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux/Unix systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
  • Proficiency in shell scripting and automation using Bash or similar tools
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Knowledge of network protocols and concepts
  • Ability to script and automate tasks using PowerShell
  • Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or JIRA for ticket management
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers (2016/2019/2022) to ensure their performance, security, and availability
  • Manage Active Directory environments, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and group policies
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups for Windows environments
  • Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) to ensure performance, security, and availability
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security for Linux/Unix systems, and automate tasks using shell scripting
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd-level application support for business-critical applications, resolving software-related issues
  • Collaborate with development teams to manage application deployments, patches, and upgrades
  • Use monitoring tools to track system and application health, responding to alerts promptly and ensuring high availability
  • Assist users with resolving Windows OS, network, and application-related issues
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and system maintenance
  • Document issues, resolutions, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT and application support tasks
  • Ensure security policies are followed, including antivirus, firewalls, and other security tools

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: MCSA or MCSE are desired
