Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Windows system administration and application support
- Fluent English
- Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022)
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and group policy management
- Experience with installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux/Unix systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Proficiency in shell scripting and automation using Bash or similar tools
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V
- Knowledge of network protocols and concepts
- Ability to script and automate tasks using PowerShell
- Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow or JIRA for ticket management
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers (2016/2019/2022) to ensure their performance, security, and availability
- Manage Active Directory environments, including user accounts, groups, permissions, and group policies
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups for Windows environments
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix systems (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) to ensure performance, security, and availability
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security for Linux/Unix systems, and automate tasks using shell scripting
- Provide 2nd and 3rd-level application support for business-critical applications, resolving software-related issues
- Collaborate with development teams to manage application deployments, patches, and upgrades
- Use monitoring tools to track system and application health, responding to alerts promptly and ensuring high availability
- Assist users with resolving Windows OS, network, and application-related issues
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and system maintenance
- Document issues, resolutions, and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for IT and application support tasks
- Ensure security policies are followed, including antivirus, firewalls, and other security tools
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: MCSA or MCSE are desired
