Wolof Study Manager

Summary

Join Productive Playhouse Inc. as a Wolof Study Manager for a project-based contract role. This remote position offers a flexible schedule and per-unit payment. You will be responsible for managing a study focused on improving technology in underrepresented languages, specifically Wolof. Responsibilities include participant orientation, instruction guidance, ensuring submission quality, and timely project completion. Bilingual translation skills (Wolof and English) are essential. Compensation is based on successful participant completion.

Requirements

• Ability to read, write and speak in the language associated with the study
• Ability to read and write in English, a test will be required
• Posses a mid-to-high-end Android device (i.e. Pixel 6+, Samsung S21+, etc.) Minimum Android version: 12

Responsibilities

• Provide orientation for incoming study participants
• Provide guidance on project instructions
• Ensure participants submissions meet project standards
• Ensure project progress is in line with timelines and project deadline
• Translate the English instructions to the worker's native language and ensure the workers can understand and follow the instructions appropriately
• The bilingual speaker will also translate the worker's feedback response in their native language to English
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support team goals and evolving project needs
