Summary

We are seeking experienced Workday Student Integration Consultants to join our dynamic ERP migration team at various client colleges and universities. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between Workday and other third-party software, with a focus on the Workday Student system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in Workday integrations, with a specific focus on Workday Student
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, JSON, XML, XSLT, and web services (SOAP, REST)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, develop strategic solutions, and implement changes effectively
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior experience in coordinating meetings and facilitating group discussions

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations focused on the Workday Student system using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Document Transformation
  • Work closely with functional areas and IT to gather and interpret integration requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications to develop reliable and efficient integration
  • Ensure the integrity and security of institutional data through rigorous testing and troubleshooting of integrations
  • Provide support and continuous enhancements for existing integrations, addressing any integration issues promptly
  • Document all integration processes thoroughly and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Keep abreast of updates in Workday Student functionalities and adapt integrations to accommodate changes and new features
  • Monitor integrations and troubleshoot any issues that arise, utilizing subject matter expertise, advanced troubleshooting skills, and vendor resources to resolve problems efficiently
  • Prepare and deliver frequent status reports detailing progress, issues, and roadblocks
  • Respond promptly to service tickets and user queries, providing timely technical support and escalating complex issues as necessary
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other developers as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment and enhancing collective technical expertise

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with additional higher education ERP(s) like Banner, Colleague, or Jenzabar
  • Experience working with additional higher education technology solutions
  • Workday certifications, preferably related to integrations and Workday Student
  • Experience with additional integration tools and platforms
