Authorized by Congress, the Foundation mobilizes resources to support CDC’s mission. Since 1995, it has raised over $2 billion and launched more than 1,300 programs addressing health threats like cardiovascular disease, cancer, rotavirus, HIV, COVID-19, and Ebola. The Foundation managed hundreds of programs in the U.S. and over 90 countries last year.
