The New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) ensures the reliable operation of New York’s high-voltage transmission and dispatches over 500 electric power generators. We manage bulk power markets trading $7.8 billion annually. As a not-for-profit, we are governed by a 9-member Board and involve Market Participants in our governance.
