2D Spine Character Animator

Summary

Join Magic Media's animation division as a 2D Spine character animator! We're a global media and tech group with a presence in 15 countries. You'll create captivating character animations for games, collaborating with concept artists, VFX artists, and developers. This role requires at least 3 years of 2D game animation experience and full Spine proficiency. Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in 2D character animation for games
• Full control of Spine
• Punctuality, attention to detail, and a great understanding of body mechanics, physics, weight, and acting
• Working closely with references to achieve a high level of production
• Working efficiently and according to a structured pipeline
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
• Highly organized
• High-level English and ability to express yourself
• Self-driven, independent, problem solver. Knows how to provide creative solutions within a given budget

Responsibilities

• Prepare Spine skeletons (Rigging) for animation
• Animate characters according to character sheets and PNG facial expressions in Spine
• Work closely with a Concept artist and Animation Director to achieve the projects’ goals

Preferred Qualifications

• Illustration skills
• Storyboarding / Animatic skills
