Ab Initio Developer

Summary

Join ALTER SOLUTIONS and contribute to rewriting an application for the financial sector using new technology. Develop solutions with Ab Initio, provide ongoing support, and work with a team to design and architect solutions.

Requirements

• Working in areas such as data processing, ETL, and API
• Proficiency in Ab Initio and SQL is necessary
• Experience with databases and tools such as REST, Jira, SOAP, Oracle, and KSH is required
• Familiarity with methodologies like Waterfall and Agile is also expected

Responsibilities

• Contribute to rewriting an application for the financial sector
• Develop solutions using Ab Initio according to project specifications
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions
• Work with the team to design and architect solutions
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation
• Regularly update the project manager and tech lead on task progress
• Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure code quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial sector projects
• Experience in data modeling
