Abap Lead Architect

Requirements

• At least 10 years of SAP programming and consultancy experience
• Must have at least 7 years of working on SAP implementations
• At least 5 years of involvement with a full cycle implementation in large organizations and at least one (1) end to end S/4 HANA implementations
• Experience with SAP ABAP development tools like ADT
• Knowledge of Fiori development and UI technologies
• Understanding of SAP Workflow and Business Rules
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform and integration technologies
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies
• Capacity to comprehend business forms from a client’s point of view
• Capacity to work in a group domain, viably cooperating with others
• Must be results-oriented
• Experience in developing test, cutover and post go-live plans for the modules of competence (strategy, plan, requirements, KPIs, etc)
• Experience with globally distributed teams
• Must have strong analytical skills, be team-oriented with excellent communication skills
• Strong customer orientation
• Ability to work independently and efficiently, managing timelines and expectations, and producing high-quality deliverables

Responsibilities

• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and optimizing ABAP programs
• Managing technical aspects of projects
• Providing expert consultation on ABAP best practices
• Leading technical design sessions
• Defining architecture for complex ABAP solutions
• Overseeing development activities on projects
• Identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks in existing ABAP code to optimize system efficiency
• Integrating ABAP solutions with other SAP modules and external systems using various interfaces
• Collaborating with functional consultants to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications
• Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation for developed ABAP programs and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Automotive or Manufacturing companies is an asset
