Summary

Join Trace3 as a full-time LoadRunner Engineer for a 6-month+ contract! You will be instrumental in working down the client's backlog and supporting new internal customer projects. This role demands extensive experience in performance testing, script development using LoadRunner and jMeter, and collaborating with architects and product owners. You'll execute various performance tests, analyze metrics, and report findings to stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong programming skills (C is a must) and experience with performance testing tools. This contract position offers competitive compensation and a range of benefits.

Requirements

  • Performance Script Development: Extensive Experience developing test scripts using vuGen and jMeter for multiple protocols, including HTTP, SAP, SOAP etc
  • Performance Testing Tools: Experience with performance testing tools including LoadRunner Enterprise (must have), Apache JMeter
  • Testing and Evaluation: Extensive experience planning and executing large performance tests of various types, conducting analysis, and reporting on these tests to stakeholders
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate strong knowledge in one or more programming languages (e.g., C (must have), Python, Perl, ABAP, Java, C++)
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position due to client specific government/federal requirements. Must have US Passport

Responsibilities

  • Create, configure and execute performance test scripts within LoadRunner / jMeter
  • Collaborate with Application Architects and Product Owners to define and design specific performance test scenarios and key outcomes
  • Execute the various performance tests including Load, Stress, Endurance, and capacity tests
  • Capture and analyze performance test metrics
  • Review test results captured from load runner and monitoring tool, support the identification of performance issues and make recommendations to stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with JIRA / Agile methodologies
  • Dynatrace and Splunk integration with LoadRunner
