Summary

Escape Velocity is hiring a Combat Designer to join their team and develop combat mechanics, weapons, and abilities for their project. The designer will work closely with other teams and use metrics and player feedback to improve designs. Required qualifications include at least 2 years of experience as a Combat Designer and proficiency in visual scripting languages.

Requirements

• Experience as a Combat Designer on multiple titles for at least 2 years
• Experienced with visual scripting languages (Blueprint, Node Graphs, and so on)

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the player's combat mechanics, weapons, and abilities
• Work closely with animators, gameplay programmers, and other teams to prototype and implement combat features
• Take designs through a full development cycle from concept to release
