Join Townsquare Ignite as an Account Director (Agency Partnerships) and expand our agency footprint, driving new revenue growth. This fully remote position, ideal for candidates in CST or EST, involves managing a personal book of agency business, prospecting, pitching, and closing deals. You will build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a strategic advisor. The role requires a strong understanding of the agency landscape and digital media sales, along with an entrepreneurial mindset. You will own the full sales cycle, represent Townsquare Ignite in meetings, stay ahead of industry trends, and collaborate with internal teams. Success in this hunter role demands meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Requirements
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas in digital advertising, ideally with agency experience
- 5+ years of digital media sales experience with a focus on new business development
- Deep understanding of the media planning and buying process within the agency ecosystem
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work independently and strategically prioritize opportunities
- Experience using CRM tools to manage pipelines, forecast accurately, and drive results
- Proficiency in developing persuasive pitch decks and supporting materials to win new business
- Willingness and ability to travel for client meetings as needed
Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch, and close digital advertising deals with media buyers across independent agencies, regional shops, and holding company accounts
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers, acting as a strategic advisor who understands each agencyβs unique goals
- Own the full sales cycle β from prospecting to close β using a consultative, solutions-oriented approach
- Represent Townsquare Ignite in virtual and in-person meetings, delivering compelling presentations and showcasing our full suite of solutions
- Stay ahead of industry trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations to clients and internal teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and ensure campaign success
- Analyze campaign performance data and proactively identify upsell and renewal opportunities
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Participate in regular virtual team meetings with the camera on to foster stronger collaboration and engagement, ensuring active communication and connection with colleagues across departments
