Join Crunchbase as an Account Executive III and drive strategic data sales for industry-leading organizations. You will own complex enterprise sales cycles, leverage your expertise in data solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Building and nurturing relationships with senior decision-makers is crucial, as is identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring seamless implementations. You will provide valuable market insights to product and engineering teams, shaping the future of Crunchbase's data solutions. Requirements
- Proven experience in data sales, including selling data products, analytics solutions, or data-driven services
- Strong understanding of data monetization strategies and experience navigating data licensing agreements
- Track record of exceeding sales targets in a data-focused environment, with expertise in pipeline management and deal execution
- Ability to articulate the value of data to customers, addressing use cases, compliance considerations, and ROI
- Experience working with technical teams to align sales efforts with data product capabilities and market needs
- 5+ years of experience selling SaaS products to customers of varying sizes, ranging from SMB to enterprise
- Must have experience selling data and APIs
- Past experience working with internal executives and cross-functionally with other teams
Responsibilities
- Assess inbound leads to pinpoint new sales possibilities within an established funnel of potential customers
- Engage in prospecting to expand the customer base according to target account profiles
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas with the autonomy to approach these targets in a manner that best suits your strengths and strategies while aligning with the company's sales philosophy
- Cultivate enduring relationships with customers
- Recognize upsell prospects and enhance existing accounts to tailor solutions for broader multi-team licenses
- Partner with SDRs to formulate ABM strategies for key target accounts
- Ensure a smooth hand-off from early qualification to closure
- Work closely with the Customer Success team during the sales closure to implement Crunchbase Data and future products
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to relay customer issues and experiences
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
