Summary
Join BlueCat's Finance team, a collaborative and high-performing group, as a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills. You will assist with various accounting tasks, including corporate credit card processing, travel transaction reconciliation, accounts payable, journal entries, and monthly/quarterly closings. The role also involves balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, documentation of policies and procedures, and participation in ad hoc projects. Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach to challenges
- Advanced MS Excel skills (pivot tables; macros an asset)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist with corporate credit card process by reviewing receipts and ensuring accurate recording in our system
- Reconcile and upload travel transactions from Navan to Netsuite
- Assist with accounts payable including bill processing and payment application
- Booking journal entries as requested to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Assist Senior Accountants with the preparation of monthly/quarterly closings
- Assisting with the reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement items including but not limited to fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and inventory
- Documentation of policies and procedures, as well as processes within the finance department to allow for continuous improvements
- Assist with other ad hoc projects as they arise
Preferred Qualifications
Pursuing a CPA designation (preferred)
