Accounting Intern AR

Summary

Join Signifyd's Accounting Team as a passionate Staff Accountant and play a crucial role in our financial operations. You will onboard new customers, manage invoicing and collections, reconcile accounts, and participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process. This part-time role (15-25 hours/week) requires strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Requirements

• The Employee is expected to work during normal business hours for their time zone and maintain a consistent weekly schedule
• The Employee must frequently communicate with cross-functional coworkers using the company’s standard platforms (email, Slack, or JIRA)
• The Employee must frequently communicate through live conference calls or online meetings. Attendance with on camera video is mandatory
• The Employee must be able to work independently and manage their own priorities
• Basic Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, sumifs, and xlookups

Responsibilities

• Onboard new customers
• Invoice customers
• Collections
• Record incoming cash receipts
• Send statements to customers
• Reconcile customer accounts
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Participate in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process to help ensure the Company’s financial statements are accurate and timely
• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
