Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Global experience in leading and supporting cross-functional projects, interacting effectively with all levels of the company
  • Track record of managing projects with quality, detail, and consistency
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with an ability to articulate complex topics in a clear and concise manner
  • Willingness to learn and to stay up-to-date with the state of the art
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls)
  • Knowledge and experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Demonstrated experience developing, deploying, and monitoring secure systems
  • Background in engineering with a deep passion for making all things secure

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and actively collaborate in day-to-day information security operations, including monitoring, threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response coordination
  • Manage a team of information security analysts and engineers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
  • Work closely with other functional areas and/or departments in the identification of requirements and designing of solutions
  • Collaborate with IT, Compliance, Legal, and other business units to ensure alignment with security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g. PCI DSS, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, NIST, CIS, GDPR) and participate in the audit processes
  • Maintain awareness of emerging cyber threats, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our security posture
