Summary

Join ServiceNow's Solution Consulting team and significantly contribute to our success by supporting Solution Sales. As a hands-on technical consultant, you will guide revenue for one of our products, collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and the executive team. You will develop, position, and provide product-specific solutions during sales cycles, achieving quarterly and annual sales goals. This role involves leading discovery workshops, giving product demonstrations, answering technical questions, providing product feedback, sharing best practices, and staying updated on competitive analysis. You will also support marketing events and manage your territory effectively. The position requires significant experience in pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering, proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or similar cloud solutions, and a strong understanding of AI integration in work processes.

Requirements

  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry
  • 7+ years of pre-sales solution consulting or sales engineering experience
  • Proficiency with the ServiceNow platform or technical expertise with cloud software solutions
  • Experience working collaboratively with product management, product marketing, partners, and professional services
  • Territory management skills, including pipeline building and working with Sales counterpart to guide execution excellence
  • Travel, as necessary

Responsibilities

  • Support product sales as a technical and domain expert of a client-facing sales team within the financial services industry
  • Lead discovery workshops to determine customers' challenges and give product demonstrations to align our solution with customer needs
  • Answer product feature and technical questions from customers, channel partners and ServiceNow colleagues
  • Provide feedback to product management about product enhancements that can address customer needs and provide additional value
  • Share and learn best practices and re-usable assets with other Solution Consultants to enhance the quality and efficiency of the team
  • Stay current on competitive analysis and market differentiation
  • Support marketing events including executive briefings, conferences, user groups, and trade shows
