You will regularly evaluate competitor software, engage with customers and partners to gather feedback, and communicate industry developments to internal stakeholders. Your expertise will be crucial in testing and mapping Chaos software workflows within the AEC context, identifying improvement opportunities, and coordinating proof-of-concept development. Effective communication with diverse audiences is essential. This position demands deep AEC software knowledge, a strong understanding of design technologies, and the ability to quickly learn and apply new software and data standards.
Requirements
- Deep knowledge of the tech stack used across the full building design and delivery process
- Strong understanding of the current and emerging design technologies and standards used across the AEC industry for project delivery
- AEC software knowledge extends from a higher level understanding of implementation to detailed knowledge of actual use
- Demonstrated capacity to learn and apply new software and data standards quickly, and understand how they fit into the larger AEC workflow
- Comfortable functioning as part of a high performance team, with a significant level of execution autonomy, coupled with clear accountability
- Effective communicator using verbal, written, and visual mediums for both technical and lay audiences
Responsibilities
- Regularly evaluate and report on competitor commercial and beta software releases
- Participate in customer and partner engagements to gather external perspectives on Chaos and competitor software, and share expert level knowledge of Chaos products and workflows
- Communicate the latest relevant AEC industry software developments to appropriate internal stakeholders
- Test and map current Chaos software workflows into the larger AEC context, and identify opportunities for additional workflows or improvements to existing ones
- Coordinate proof of concepts (POC) development and validation to facilitate technology transfer or formal development and implementation
- Communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences, using appropriate formats for each stakeholder group
