Aem Full Stack Engineer

Summary

Join Blue Acorn iCi as an experienced AEM Full Stack Engineer in Mexico! You will design and develop complex content management solutions using AEM and related technologies. This role requires collaboration with various teams and a strong understanding of Java, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. You will be involved in all phases of the project, from design and development to implementation and testing. The ideal candidate possesses 3-5 years of experience with AEM and related technologies, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Requirements

• Have hands-on experience with Front End frameworks
• Have Node.js experience
• Have experience with MVC Frameworks (React preferred) - Equal balancing of the model and controller aspects of MVC as opposed to just the view
• Have 3-5 years of web content management system experience working with one or more CMS packages, including Adobe CQ5 (AEM) version 5.3 or above
• Have working knowledge and understanding of the following: JCR, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML, CSS
• Possess intermediate to advanced JavaScript principles and fundamentals
• Have experience with HTML, JSP, HTL (and other templating languages)
• Have extensive knowledge of Git and Git commands
• Have experience with Bootstrap 3
• Have experience with CSS Preprocessors (LESS / SASS)
• Be able to juggle multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines
• Have a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience in the development industry

Responsibilities

• Be available for some travel throughout the planning phases of the project
• Work alongside software developers and architects, UX / UI visual designers and architects, and product developers
• Develop, implement, and configure web content management solutions using AEM (Adobe CQ) and technologies such as Java, HTML/DHTML, XML, JavaScript, and web services
• Discover, design, and build highly interactive interfaces and content that keep users engaged and build positive brand equity at every possible point in the user experience
• Slice, mark-up, and script interfaces and content on content managed, responsive websites / systems that work flawlessly on desktop, tablet, phone, and other devices
• Work with Adobe Experience Manager (CQ5 and AEM6) as well as other CMS
• Work closely with back end developers to produce solutions and smooth integrations
• Work directly with servers and server-side: AJAX, JS
• Setup and configuration of AEM Author and Publish instances and ensuring all code works in both environments
• Setup and configuration of dispatcher or proxy to run in front of AEM
• Translate business requirements into technical details relevant to AEM
• Design reusable AEM components for authoring content
• Provide input into estimating engagement activities and execute engagements following the Agile methodology including SCRUM
• Create events and listeners on content and interaction to produce meaningful reporting (Google Analytics, Adobe Marketing Suite, and other conversion tags)
• Leverage APIs / Web Services and content of all types (REST, SOAP, XML, JSON, etc.)
• Deliver products and apps that are based on pre-existing wireframes, designs, or other client requirements
• Assist clients in achieving strategic objectives through technology solution implementation

Preferred Qualifications

• Have strong Java/J2EE/JSP experience – developing large system applications
• Have experience with AJAX, JSON
• Have experience with REST / SOAP Web Services
• Have Sightly/HTL experience
