Summary
Join Stack Builders, a US-based software consultancy, as an experienced AEM Lead Author in this remote contract position. Collaborate with a client project team to enhance brand visibility, optimize their website, and lead a team of AEM authors. You will manage the full web process, from production to SEO, content creation, and page management. Partner with product managers, digital marketers, designers, and engineers to drive impactful projects. This role requires expertise in AEM authoring tools and workflows, and strong communication skills. Candidates must reside and be eligible to work in the US, Canada, or Colombia.
Requirements
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Have 3+ years of experience in AEM content authoring and management
- Possess deep expertise in AEM authoring tools, workflows, and DAM
- Have knowledge of AEM templates, components, and DAM (Digital Asset Management)
- Understand SEO, content strategy, and accessibility compliance
- Have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for content formatting and minor adjustments
- Be able to collaborate with UX, developers, and business teams
- Be able to understand dynamic enterprise workflows and processes quickly
- Be available to overlap at least 4 hours with US PDT time zone working hours
- Have fluent and efficient communication skills in English
- Reside in and be eligible to work in the US, Canada, or Colombia
- For US applicants, be able to work as a contractor under an LLC, C-Corp, or S-Corp
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of AEM authors in creating, managing, and maintaining content within AEM
- Structure content according to AEM components, templates, assets, and workflows
- Ensure adherence to best practices for AEM site architecture, and quality controls
- Ensure ADA compliance, accessibility, and localization
- Collaborate with developers, UX designers, and business stakeholders to optimize AEM functionality
- Manage and troubleshoot AEM authoring issues, including content migration and updates
- Oversee workflow automation and permissions for content publishing
- Troubleshoot AEM content issues and manage content migrations
Preferred Qualifications
- Have experience in digital marketing or content strategy
- Understand web analytics and user behavior tracking
- Be familiar with agile methodologies and Jira
