Agile Coach

Join Halcyon's rapidly growing Cloud Engineering Team as an experienced Agile Coach! You will play a key role in driving the team's growth and scaling to meet organizational needs. Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to foster a high-performing environment. Implement and refine agile strategies, partner with stakeholders on team topologies, and develop metrics for value delivery. Use tools like JIRA and Confluence to analyze trends and drive improvements. Guide the organization through agile transformations and lead initiatives to enhance team processes. Requirements

• Proven experience as an Agile Coach or similar role, preferably in growth-focused or transformation contexts
• Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.) and change management principles
• Strong facilitation skills, with experience leading workshops, training sessions, and agile ceremonies
• Data analysis skills to make informed decisions and demonstrate the impact of agile practices
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, Excel or Sheets, JQL

Responsibilities

• Coach teams and leadership on Agile principles, values, and best practices
• Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and planning sessions to foster alignment and continuous improvement
• Build trust across teams, act as a neutral party to resolve conflicts, and cultivate a healthy work environment
• Support team development through Tuckman’s stages of group development, helping them advance toward high performance
• Implement and refine agile strategies and standards across competencies (DevOps, Data Platform, API, UI)
• Partner with stakeholders to design team topologies that support intentional scaling
• Develop and track metrics for value delivery, quality, and process efficiency to inform stakeholders
• Use tools like JIRA, Confluence, and spreadsheets to analyze trends and drive improvements
• Work with Product and Engineering Leaders to align team priorities with company-wide objectives
• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring cohesion and shared understanding
• Guide the organization through transformations by introducing agile methodologies tailored to our needs
• Lead initiatives to improve meeting culture, backlog management, and sprint execution

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as ICP-ACC, SAFe Program Consultant, or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP)
