Summary

The Agile & IT Process Consultant at Medrio guides the company's continuous improvement journey towards Agile transformation and optimizing IT processes. They collaborate with Product & Technology leaders and individual contributors to understand their challenges and goals, develop tailored strategies, and ensure alignment across departments for increased flexibility and productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (minimum 3 years) working as an Agile Coach, SDLC Process Consultant, Scrum Master, or Product Owner
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and experience implementing Agile practices in diverse organizational contexts
  • Proficiency in process mapping, gap analysis, and process reengineering
  • Strong experience with Jira, ideally as a project admin, site admin, or organization admin

Responsibilities

  • Process Analysis, Design and Optimization: Evaluate existing Agile and SDLC processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design streamlined solutions, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and conduct audits
  • Change Management and Implementation: Develop and implement change management strategies, facilitate change impact assessments, work closely with product owners, scrum masters, leaders, and other stakeholders to prioritize and sequence changes
  • Performance and Quality Metrics: Leverage data analytics and reporting tools to identify patterns and insights, define key performance indicators (KPIs), assess process performance, and conduct audits
  • Risk Management and Mitigation: Identify potential risks related to SDLC processes, propose risk mitigation strategies, oversee and coordinate problem management for high profile technical issues
  • Training, Coaching, and Continuous Learning: Provide training and coaching on Agile principles, methodologies, and tools, stay updated on industry trends, and champion Agile best practices within the organization
  • Facilitate & Support Cross-Team Agile Activities: Coordinate with product management, software development, software test and quality teams, track and drive the resolution of issues, and may serve as Scrum Master
  • JIRA administration: Configure and validate Jira workflows, permission schemes, dashboards, screens, automation rules, integrations with other systems, and manage upgrades and maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, Release Train Engineer, SAFe DevOps Professional, or similar
  • Experience working in a regulated environment such as the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries
