Algo Trader

Summary

The job is for an Algo Trader APAC in the cryptocurrency environment, where the employee will develop trading strategies, conduct research, collaborate with other teams, and manage day-to-day crypto operations. The role requires a university degree, 3-4 years of working experience, prior experience in trading within a global financial trading firm, strong understanding of decentralized exchanges, cryptocurrency concepts, and English proficiency. Preferred requirements include prior experience with market making. Requirements

• University degree (MSc or PhD preferred)
• 3-4 years of working experience
• Prior experience in trading within a global financial trading firm is mandatory
• Strong understanding of decentralized exchanges and decentralized finance
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency concepts such as wallets, blockchains, smart contracts and stablecoins required

Responsibilities

• Develop trading strategies around market-making, on spot markets
• Conduct research to identify potential trading opportunities on centralized & decentralized exchanges
• Collaborate with other teams to develop execution strategies
• Define optimal liquidity to provide clients with
• Manage day-to-day crypto operations (fund movements, transaction processing, reconciliations, settlements, loan tracking, account opening, P&L calculation, position management, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with Market Making is preferred
