Summary
Join iCapital as an Alternative Investment Specialist and partner with a major wealth management client. You will report to the North America/Latin America regional team lead, collaborating with advisors and third-party managers to boost alternative investment adoption. Leverage your alternative investment expertise, strong relationship management, and sales skills to generate sales, promote offerings, and meet with clients. Responsibilities include working on new fund launches, partnering with asset managers, and maintaining CRM data. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience working within the alternative investment industry in a client facing capacity (e.g. external wholesaler, capital raising specialist, client portfolio manager, or product specialist)
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment and follow a rigorous sales process
- Able to sell and provide support for a diverse platform of hedge fund, private equity, private credit, and real asset offerings
- Series 7 and 63 licenses are required
- Must obtain CAIA within 3 years of hire
Responsibilities
- Generate alternative investment product sales
- Promote adoption of offerings across our client’s wealth platform and be an expert on the merits of alternative investments
- Meet with clients and prospects and attend conferences and events as required, no less than every other week in coverage territory
- Work with our wealth client’s Alternative Investments team on new fund launches including driving attendance to launch calls and roadshows, client events and corresponding follow-up
- Work in close partnership with asset management partners to raise capital for offerings
- Mandatory CRM usage and maintenance of activity, advisor profiles, and pipeline capture
Preferred Qualifications
CFA and CAIA charter holders are preferred

- The base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $250,000
