Join Data Meaning, a leading Business Intelligence and Data Analytics consulting firm, as an Alteryx Administrator. This 9-month contract position (with potential extension) is remote and based in LatAm. You will manage and maintain the Alteryx environment for a key client, ensuring optimal performance, stability, security, and scalability. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, user support, and collaboration with IT teams. The ideal candidate possesses strong Alteryx administration expertise, database knowledge, scripting skills, and excellent communication abilities in English and Spanish.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as an Alteryx Administrator or a similar role
- Strong expertise in Alteryx Server administration, including installation, upgrades, and maintenance
- Experience with Alteryx Designer, including workflow optimization and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in managing Alteryx Gallery, scheduling, and user access control
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.) and data integration
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or SQL for automation and optimization
- Familiarity with cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and integrating Alteryx with cloud-based data sources
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Excellent English and Spanish communication and collaboration skills to support end-users and work with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Alteryx Server, and Alteryx Designer environments
- Perform installation, configuration, and upgrades of Alteryx Server and associated components
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows for efficiency
- Manage Alteryx Server Gallery, user roles, permissions, and authentication settings
- Implement and enforce best practices for workflow development, scheduling, and execution
- Provide technical support to end users, ensuring seamless workflow execution
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Alteryx with enterprise systems such as databases, cloud services, and data warehouses
- Perform regular server health checks, backups, and disaster recovery planning
- Maintain and enhance security policies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
- Document configurations, processes, troubleshooting procedures, and best practices
- Attend to customer requests and provide timely responses and solutions within the defined Service Level Agreement (SLA)
- Be available after hours and on weekends to perform upgrades and maintenance tasks without affecting business users
Preferred Qualifications
- Alteryx Core and Advanced Certifications
- Experience with ITIL-based service management frameworks
- Familiarity with API integration and Alteryx connectors
- Experience with enterprise reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with Snowflake administration
