Analytics Engineer

Summary

Join DeepIntent's Europe-based team as an Analytics Engineer, collaborating with the New York City Client Success team. This remote or office-based (Banja Luka or Belgrade) position involves creating standardized and custom reports using Python, BigQuery, and Spark for pharma clients. You will manage ETL jobs, communicate with clients, and ensure high-quality deliverables. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, experience with data analysis/engineering, and proficiency in SQL and Python. Experience in healthcare and with specific technologies is a plus.

Requirements

• Have a desire to work in a rapidly growing and ever-changing tech startup/ digital advertising space
• Detail oriented and organized, with flexibility to work on diverse projects and clients
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; confident in communicating complex ideas in a clear way to partners across the organization
• 1+ years of working experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Developer
• Experience with SQL required
• Experience with a Python required
• Experience with Git & Linux required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel

Responsibilities

• Create reports for our Pharma clients using Python, Google BigQuery and Spark
• Communicate with technical and nontechnical clients, both internal and external about their demands and what they need to provide us to generate requested data
• Thorough understanding of the datasets we use for which you will receive required trainings
• Effectively communicate with external clients and internal teams to deliver solutions in a timely fashion
• Work with programming languages, such as SQL and Python to maintain and create ETL jobs that are stable, with good error handling and monitoring
• Use Metaflow and object-oriented programming for data workflow and pipeline development

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare is a plus
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS or Google Cloud, preferred
• Experience working with remote teams and ticketing systems such as JIRA
• Experience with a visualization tool such as Looker and Superset preferred
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
