Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in transforming sales strategies and customer relationships through insightful data analysis and compelling storytelling
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and visualization tools like Tableau, with a strong command of dbt for data transformation and automation
  • Proven track record of leading high-impact analytics projects, with exceptional skills in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder communication
  • Strategic thinker with an acute sense of how data can inform product development, enhance customer engagement, and drive business growth
  • Exceptional mentorship and leadership capabilities, with a history of fostering talent within the analytics domain and beyond

Responsibilities

  • Lead conversations with merchants and partners, using persuasive data narratives to illustrate Kard's value proposition and drive strategic initiatives
  • Develop and execute advanced analytics strategies that directly impact sales effectiveness and market positioning, leveraging tools like Tableau and dbt to distill complex data into actionable insights
  • Serve as a go-to analytics expert within cross-functional teams, ensuring that data-driven strategies align with and propel business goals
  • Innovate our analytics framework to provide a competitive edge, enhancing our understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and product performance
  • Discover data-derived insights that directly influence product direction and foster stronger business relationships
  • Cultivate a culture of analytics excellence company-wide, mentoring team members and leading by example to elevate our collective data literacy and decision-making prowess
  • Continuously explore and integrate new analytics technologies and methodologies
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and data protection standards in all development and operations, championing and automating them for the organization
  • Manage expenses efficiently, always working for a high value-to-cost ratio
  • Continuously improve our automation and processes, improving the flow of work and reducing Lean waste
  • Travel to attend annual and semi-annual company meetings, and as needed by your job responsibilities
