Summary

Join Tint as a Senior Analytics Engineer and play a critical role in our data-driven decision-making process, connecting data engineering and analytics. You'll ensure data is high quality, accessible, and ready for analysis while designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, business analytics, actuarial science or a similar role
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and experience in building and optimizing data models for business reporting
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Windmill, dbt)
  • Expertise with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python or R is a big plus
  • Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Omni, Tableau, Looker) and how they interact with underlying data models
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex data problems
  • Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines to ensure the efficient flow and accessibility of data across teams
  • Design, develop and optimize data models to support business analytics, reporting, and decision-making
  • Partner with data scientists, analysts, product managers and engineers to ensure alignment between business goals and data initiatives
  • Create and maintain documentation for the data infrastructure, models, and processes
  • Work on improving data quality, accessibility, automation and observability within the data ecosystem
  • Lead initiatives to integrate new data sources and optimize existing ones
  • Mentor and guide junior team members on best practices for data engineering and analytics
