Analytics Engineer I

Summary

Join Artera as a skilled and motivated Analytics Engineer I to revamp and implement our Looker platform, enhance data visualization capabilities, and address legacy issues in our current system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM preferred *additional experience in lieu of a degree is also accepted
• 2+ years of experience in a data-related role such as Analytics Engineer, BI Engineer, Data Analyst, or a similar position
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with a scripting language (Python preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally and deal with ambiguity

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance dashboards using Looker and other data visualization tools to meet the needs of various stakeholders
• Partner with the team to revamp and implement a new Looker instance, focusing on improving performance and user experience
• Develop and maintain robust data models to support reporting and analytics needs
• Collaborate with Customer Experience (CX) teams to understand and fulfill data requests, adding filters, dimensions, and other enhancements as needed
• Refactor existing reports to improve load times and overall performance, ensuring efficient data delivery
• Work with DevOps and other engineering teams to unify data delivery
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, dashboards, and processes
