Anaplan Engineer

Summary

Join our Planning and Consolidation technology team as an Anaplan Engineer, supporting the FP&A and Finance departments during month-end close processes and planning cycles. You will manage global and local financial planning solutions, develop new functionalities, and translate business user requirements into technical developments. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, acting as the primary contact for Anaplan-related inquiries, and contributing to the Anaplan Center of Excellence by defining best practices and maintaining documentation. You will also challenge the business to explore new insights based on Anaplan data and stay updated on the latest Anaplan functionalities and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, IT, Engineering, Computer Science
• 3+ years of project expertise in Anaplan financial planning and forecasting as model builder or 1+ years as solution architect
• Experience in running Helpdesk/support end-users, incident management and problem solving
• Excellent team player, able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and peers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
• Ability to work under low supervision, being self-driven
• Strong communication skills and good, communicative English [B2 is a must] and ability to communicate technical topics in a simple way to non-technical audience

Responsibilities

• Translate business user requirements into technical developments, leveraging Proof of Concepts (POCs) and mock-ups
• Support FP&A teams during the Month end close and planning cycles
• Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders regarding Anaplan, budget modeling and reporting automation
• Contribute to the Anaplan Center of Excellence organization by defining best practices, maintaining processes & solution documentation, and bringing new ideas
• Challenge business to explore and generate new insights based on Anaplan data
• Stay updated with the latest Anaplan and related systems functionalities as well as industry best practices on data modeling, planning and process definition

Preferred Qualifications

• Level 3 Anaplan solution architect certification is preferred
• Experience with Anaplan integrators like Anaplan Connect and APIs
• Experience working with OneStream
