Summary

Join Anaplan as a Sales Development Team Lead in Minneapolis and lead a team of SDRs, driving performance and supporting their development. This hybrid role requires managing and coaching a team, leading onboarding, acting as a player/coach, running team meetings, providing coaching, and partnering with sales leaders. You will build skills in forecasting and reporting, ensuring team execution aligns with department priorities. Responsibilities include managing inbound lead distribution, fostering a positive team culture, and ensuring team accountability to KPIs. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of SDR experience with a strong track record of overachievement, excellent time management and communication skills, and experience mentoring others. German fluency and English proficiency are required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach a team of SDRs, driving performance across KPIs and supporting their development
  • Lead by example by taking part in power hour calling sessions with the team
  • Own and lead new hire onboarding for new hires
  • Act as a Player / Coach role, can step in and do the role to cover team gaps and/or help lead by example
  • Run regular team meetings, hold 1:1s, and provide ongoing coaching to help SDRs build effective habits and exceed expectations
  • Partner with Sales Leaders in bi-weekly pipeline reviews, helping align SDR efforts with territory and pipeline goals
  • Build skills to forecast, report on the business, and ensure team execution aligns to department priorities within 5% accuracy
  • Ensure team accountability to KPIs β€” including personalized outreach, meaningful conversations, meeting generation, and deal progression
  • Manage inbound lead distribution and follow-up, driving timely and effective qualification
  • Foster a positive, high-performance team culture focused on growth, feedback, and results
