Summary

Join Encora as a Senior Android Engineer and become a key member of a cross-functional team building new features for mobile apps. You will collaborate with product and design teams, ship frequently, and mentor junior engineers. This role requires a strong track record of successful app launches, proven analytical skills, and initiative. Experience with Android, Jetpack Compose, and RxKotlin is essential, along with experience working on large, modular codebases. The position offers work-from-home flexibility.

Requirements

• +7 years of experience in relevant roles
• Experience with Android, Jetpack Compose, and RxKotlin
• Experience working on a large modular codebase that was started a decade ago and needs to be well architected for the next decade of growth

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product & design, shipping early and often
• Provide leadership and mentorship for junior engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and technical discussions
• Seek feedback because it you know has the ability to turn good work into great work
• Write clear and concise technical documents
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends, and share them with the team

Preferred Qualifications

• React Native experience
• Experience with server-side JVM applications
