Summary

Join LastPass, a leader in password and identity management, as an Android Engineer. Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Android application development with a solid understanding of core APIs
  • Knowledge of Android frameworks and UI styles
  • Proven experience implementing best practices in front-end UI and UX design
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts, Design Patterns, Algorithms, Multithreading, and data structures
  • Experience working with RESTful web services and handling JSON/XML data
  • Familiarity with various 3rd party SDKs and integrations
  • Willingness to write high-quality, maintainable, and testable code
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to efficiently collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Product-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering value for users
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Product Managers, UX Designers, QA, and other development team members, to deliver new features to millions of users
  • Design and implement new features from the ground up
  • Contribute to improving the architecture and code quality of the application
  • Support the customer support team by providing the necessary information for customer reports
  • Ensure that software defects are promptly tracked and addressed in a timely manner

Preferred Qualifications

Hands-on experience with cryptography solutions and a strong understanding of security best practices
