Summary
Join CPM as a Territory Manager and champion commercial efforts for the entire CPM product line in the Latin American Animal Feed market. Collaborate with the LATAM Managing Director and CPM Americas Animal Feed Sales Director to solidify market presence and drive business growth. Become an expert in CPM equipment and feed processing, working across Latin America with the LATAM Sales Manager for feed. Key to success includes building customer relationships, increasing sales, and implementing strategic growth initiatives. Translate business and market opportunities into actionable recommendations to achieve individual, team, and company targets. This role requires extensive travel (up to 75%).
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to get one’s hands dirty
- Excellent communications skills, with the ability to speak in public and to multiple levels within customer organizations, including technical specialists, procurement officers, and senior management
- ERP and customer relationship management (CRM) experience
- Self-starter, driven, and a results-oriented sales professional
- Outcome focused with the ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure
- Well-developed sales and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective at problem solving, negotiation, and conflict resolution
- 5+ years Commercial, Sales, or Operations experience within the Food/Agriculture complex
- Entrepreneurial spirit and approach
- Enjoyment of extensive business travel (up to 75%)
- Residence in Brazil
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word
- Must be able to communicate in English fluently. Ability to communicate in a second language (European)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for sales of all CPM product (equipment, support on sales for parts and service) to select Feed and Industrial customers across the South America region
- Manage Feed and Industrial customer accounts ensuring alignment with customer, market segment, and CPM strategies
- Provide intensive technical support to customers, including equipment sizing, system and process evaluation, design review, and product training
- Identify and understand technical requirements of customers and connecting these with CPM’s products and solutions
- Coordinate proposal development and technology offering with internal sales operations and technical teams
- Build relationships with existing customers
- Manage multiple accounts simultaneously
- Key to this individual’s success is interaction with the team members, including but not limited to: CPM Americas/EMEA Feed and Industrial Sales Manager, CPM Americas/EMEA applications team, CPM sales and aftermarket teams, and other strategic business partners
- Reports to management and colleagues about market developments and new possible opportunities in the industry
- Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field - chemistry, chemical, or mechanical engineering preferred
- MBA preferred
- Experience selling/supporting technical solutions, preferably within the Animal Feed industry
