Requirements

• Current and valid Tennessee State Teaching Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject
• Experience teaching or tutoring in AP instruction for grades 9-12
• Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
• A commitment to student success, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude
• Computer, phone, internet access, and quiet work environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, interactive virtual tutoring sessions aligned with state standards
• Support students in AP education subjects (Math, Science, English, Social Studies)
• Assess learning gaps, track progress, and create customized strategies to improve student performance
