Requirements

• Current and valid Florida State Teaching Certification
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related subject
• Experience teaching in foreign language instruction
• Proficiency with virtual learning platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)
• A commitment to student success, strong communication skills, and a positive attitude
• Computer, phone, internet access, and quiet work environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, interactive virtual tutoring sessions aligned with state standards
• Support students in foreign languages (Spanish, French, German, and Mandarin) as well as the AP and IB levels
• Assess learning gaps, track progress, and create customized strategies to improve student performance
• Foster a supportive and engaging virtual learning environment that builds confidence and academic success
• Utilize virtual tools and platforms to connect with students effectively
