Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-6 years of experience in Appian development, including design, configuration, and implementation of applications
- Strong knowledge of Appian platform features such as process modeling, record types, user interfaces, expressions, and SAIL (Appian’s proprietary language)
- Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle) and data modeling
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Fluent English (Written and spoken) is a must
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize scalable Appian applications to optimize business processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions
- Configure user interfaces, process models, reports, and rules within the Appian platform
- Integrate Appian applications with external systems and databases using APIs and web services
- Test, deploy, and maintain applications, ensuring performance, security, and compliance
- Troubleshoot issues, implement bug fixes, and provide ongoing support and enhancements
- Stay updated on Appian advancements, best practices, and industry trends to continuously improve solutions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and user guides
Preferred Qualifications
- Appian Certifications (Associate Developer, Senior Developer, Lead Developer) are highly preferred
- Experience with Appian RPA (Robotic Process Automation) and Appian AI features
- Experience with integrating Appian solutions with external systems using REST, SOAP, or other web services
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies for project management and software development
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, or other programming languages is a plus
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
