Lead Appian Developer

Summary

Join Axiom Software Solutions as a Lead Appian Developer in Frankfurt, Germany (fully remote across Germany). This contract or permanent position requires a minimum of 5+ years of Appian application development experience. You will design, implement, and support BPM solutions using Appian 19.x, 20.x, 21.x and above. Fluency in German (B2) and English (C1) is mandatory. Appian L2 (or above) certification is required. The role involves system integration, mobile and portal application development, and strong communication skills.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Appian application development
• Experience in design, implementation and support of BPM based solutions
• Appian L2 (or above) certification
• Experience with two or more Appian BPM implementations
• Strong problem-solving and design skills
• Good understanding of Appian architecture, best practices and BPMN standards
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• B2 German Speaker
• C1 English Speaker

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and support BPM based solutions
• Develop Appian applications using Appian 19.x, 20.x, 21.x and above
• Work with Database, Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
• Utilize Web Services, SOAP/REST, HTML, XML, JSON
• Use JIRA, Confluence, and Rally
• Work with Appian Sites, Appian Records, and UX design
• Develop applications using SAML and OAuth Framework
• Develop system integrations, mobile applications, portal applications, and extended interface applications using the Appian suite
• Develop Appian plug-ins
• Provide production support in in-house and cloud hosted environments
• Convert business process requirements to prototypes and screen flows for demonstration to business clients
• Manage relational database management systems, data modeling, database design, and Structured Query Language (SQL)
