Application Specialist

Summary

Join AlphaSense as a Financial Data Application Specialist and become a key player in a new team focused on financial data products. • Be familiar with the institutional investor landscape, financial markets, and investment research
• Have a strong foundation in Finance, such as working towards your CFA or bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting
• Have 2-4 years of relevant experience in equity research, investment management, private equity, accounting or consulting with a strong desire to move towards client-facing positions
• Have strong Excel abilities
• Have excellent communication skills, as you must manage relationships with high-profile fund managers and junior analysts alike

Responsibilities

• Assist sales in demos and strategic trials of AlphaSense’s financial data solutions
• Run trial training calls, making the ability to overcome common objections and communicate our value proposition essential to success
• Work hand in hand with account management, speaking with and visiting users to provide advanced training, customizations, and product consultations
• Drive adoption by building custom templates or other bespoke modeling tools for our customers
• Have expertise in quantitative analysis for investment and valuation decisions
• Know the use cases that our customers are likely to care about, and package it for utilization by sales and account management
• This can come in the form of how-to videos, enablement, product marketing, support articles and others that can be used for meetings or email distribution
• Field feedback and identify product opportunities, and relay that information across the organization (account management, account executives, product, management)
• Act as an escalation point for our product and support teams on difficult scenarios our customers may face with our solutions, particularly when leveraging Excel Add-ins
• Manage and resolve challenges related to the full integration of our modeling solutions into our clients’ workflows
